Text files are generally in the low kb range. The setup file is almost 14.5 mb and the additional mb comes from the Activate file. To #13-Marcus' comments: The text file that GOTD commonly includes is around 1 kb. They're generally only useful with systems that have no stereo mix, what you hear, wave, et al recording options. I will try installing the application again to see if it will function without the virtual drivers installed since they aren't necessary on my desktop. The song search feature works remarkably well so far and makes this worth keeping for me. I am glad that this application is actually working for me. One would have thought that since it was a fix that I brought to their attention, they would have given me the update. I was out of luck since it was a giveaway with no updates. I referred this issue to support and they responded by fixing the application via an update. Maybe I referred to support prematurely but my experience with Apowersoft's Recording Suite giveaway was that I was unable to record because of missing options. I found that after I closed and reopened the application, the recording errors resolved themselves. One being an Invalid Recorder Error which I referred to support. Some of the comments seem to add up to this application reacting differently according to one's system I initially received errors when trying to record.

Now I have a solution that records my voice and backround music so that I can make some instruction and help videos. Test the software and it works - no recording of the Skype stream (not importnat to me). NOTE - the support page is 90% focused on trying to get you to Google plus 1 them.įound a settings page in the program that looks different to the one shown of the web. So I created a systems restore point - PLEASE DO THIS FOR YOUR SAFETY! As I stay in a remote area I've not been able to get the Mini RCA plugs to make up the patch cord. The only real solution seemed to be the speaker to mic hardwire patch cord. All the claimed software solutions did not work. I spent days looking all over the internet for a solution. After trying many, many products that claim to record "Any Sound and Every Sound" you can listen to on your PC - this one actually works.
